About Us
The Executive Home Care experience is steeped in understanding of aging, and it comes from a place of genuine compassion for our fellow human being. With every interaction we have with our clients, we express our desire to improve their lives however we can.
We are guided by a unified mission and set of three core values. These principles are communicated throughout our organization, from our home office throughout our network of local caregivers.
The Executive Home Care Mission
We work in a unique industry with unique opportunities to provide meaningful improvement in seniors’ lives. We also realize that this comes with great responsibility.
At Executive Home Care, our mission is to improve quality of life for our clients and their families while focusing on service excellence.
By ‘service excellence’ we don’t just mean showing up every day and meeting client needs. With every client visit, we bring our humanity with us. We view our clients as extensions of our family, and we treat them as if they were part of our own circle of friends.
…because that’s how we would want to be treated.
Service excellence also means delivering a memorable, exceptional experience not just for the senior, but for their family—the ones who think of them often and who want them to live their best life every day.
Our Team
Danika Thorpe
Operations Manager
Danika Thorpe serves as Operations Manager for Executive Home Care in Fort Myers, Florida, where she works closely with families, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and community partners throughout Southwest Florida. Since joining Executive Home Care in 2017, she has helped families navigate changing care needs and make thoughtful decisions about the support their loved ones require.
Danika’s understanding of senior care began long before it became her profession. She helped care for her father, a Vietnam veteran, during his battle with terminal cancer. Later, she experienced the challenges of helping manage her mother’s care from out of state during her own terminal cancer journey.
These personal experiences gave Danika firsthand insight into the emotional and practical challenges families face when an aging parent or loved one can no longer live safely without additional support. Families may be trying to decide between in-home care, assisted living, memory care, or another senior living option—often while managing worry, time constraints, changing family roles, and unfamiliar terminology.
Danika understands that choosing senior care is about much more than finding available services or a place to live. It means understanding the individual’s health, lifestyle, preferences, finances, and desired level of independence. It also means helping the entire family feel informed and supported throughout the decision-making process.
She believes families deserve honest, compassionate guidance about the options available to them. In-home care may be the right solution for someone who needs companionship, help around the house, personal care, or assistance with daily routines. When remaining at home is no longer practical or preferred, an assisted living community, memory care community, or other senior living setting may offer the appropriate level of support.
Throughout her career, Danika has remained closely involved in agency operations, caregiver support, care coordination, and community partnerships. She recognizes that behind every assessment, care plan, phone call, and senior living search is a real person—and often a family trying to make the best possible decision for someone they love.
For Danika, helping families navigate senior care begins with listening. Her goal is to understand what matters most to each person and help families identify options that support safety, dignity, independence, comfort, and choice.
What our customers are saying
Our Values
Executive Home Care operates with guidance from three main values: Commitment, Compassion, and Quality of Care.
Our Commitment
Is, firstly, to the safety of our clients. Secondly, we are committed to their comfort and independence as much as is reasonably possible considering their condition and situation.
The Compassion
of our caregivers is what we look for when we hire them. We screen for people who are genuinely driven by a desire to connect with and support others, and it’s this compassion that shines through in their service to our clients.
Quality of Care
Refers to the technical nature of how our caregivers attend to our clients. This is where training and experience matter most. Providing a high quality of care ensures that our clients can relax more, breathe easier, and simply enjoy more of life.
